WWE Darren Young, who recently announced he is gay, will serve as a celebrity ambassador for Spirit Day on October 17. Spirit Day encourages people to wear purple in support of LGBT youth. Young will join out athletes Kye Allums, Jason Collins, and Brittney Griner. I am afraid he's getting defined by this which I'm equally afraid will ultimately cause some push back, but hopefully I'm wrong about that.
