WWE Champion C.M. Punk was involved in an incident with a fan at the end of Monday's Raw television show. Punk went into the crowd after avoiding Ryback's finisher. As Vince McMahon was addressing him, Punk backhanded a fan with a camera and then turned around and then shoved the man.

Powell's POV: It was hard to tell whether Punk connected with the fan's face with the backhand shot or if he struck the camera. The fan did not appear to have any immediate marks from the shots. He remained behind Punk as security intervened. The fan seemed to keep his cool while talking with security as Punk turned his focus back Vince, Ryback, and John Cena in the ring.

Update: Dot Net correspondent Joe Gomes attended the show and noted that a fan pushed Punk's head twice, which led to Punk retaliating. It's hard to say whether he struck the right fan, though, as the fan shots were not shown during Raw. The cameras were cutting back and forth between Vince McMahon in the ring and Punk in the crowd at the time of the incident.
