WWE Hall of Famer Booker T addressed the differences between MMA and pro wrestling while talking with the Singapore media. "It's as real as it possibly can be," Booker said of MMA. "But I wouldn't want my kids to do it. I don’t think the lifespan (of MMA fighters) is very long, and you could get hurt really, really bad doing it.

"Plus, when it’s over with, where do you go from there? MMA is not going to overtake wrestling. But it’s going to be around for many, many years to come." Read the full interview at http://sg.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/fit-to-post-sports/mma-not-going-overtake-pro-wrestling-wwe-icon-085449556.html

Powell's POV: Booker also stated that UFC star Ronda Rousey "couldn't find her way in life and found it through going out and beating other girls up." In fairness, Booker did a stint in prison before he found his way through pretending to beat up other men.
