WWE News: Big name guest star to appear on upcoming Raw

WWE has announced that Hugh Jackman will be the celebrity guest star of the September 19 edition of the WWE Raw Super Show. The event takes place in Cleveland, Oh. at the Quicken Loans Arena. [Thanks to Dot Net reader John Siino]

Powell's POV: It's important to note that he is labeled as a "guest star" rather than as the guest host. With the story of Triple H as the COO, I don't think WWE wants to bring back the guest host role and put the show in storyline control of celebrities. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be using guest stars on a regular basis. Jackman will be promoting the movie "Real Steel."
