WWE News: Audit reveals WWE owes $7,316 in back unemployment benefits

The NorwichBulletin.com is reporting that the nearly two-year long state audit of WWE has led to the finding that WWE owes $7,316 in back unemployment benefits. WWE denies the claim, but has indicated they will pay it because the cost of fighting the charge will exceed the claim.

Shore's Slant: So after all the politics involved with this audit the best the State of Connecticut could come up with was seven grand in a disputable claim? Wow. I don't know if I'm upset with CT for causing such a stink over this or upset because with all the problems with "independent contractor" status that this is the best they could find.
