Powell's POV: Flair is making headlines because he stirred up controversy in the Carolinas for making a speech to the San Francisco 49ers last weekend. The talent agency that represents Flair issued a statement in which they noted that Flair would not attend the game between the 49ers and the Carolina Panthers this weekend, and perhaps this helps explain why. The story is getting a lot of attention nationally and if the warrant portion of the story gets picked up it could lead to some embarrassment for Flair, who is believed to be staying in Florida these days.
