Dot Net reader Dan Jones attended Mick Foley's "Tales From Wrestling's Past" show in Manchester, England at the Dance House Theater and sent the following report.

The venue isn't the nicest to put it politely. It seats approximately 400 and it was full. There were lots of C.M. Punk and Dolph Ziggler t-shirts. Surprisingly, I only spotted one Foley shirt. There were also a lot of grown men with replica belts (am I the only one who finds this weird?).

The warmup act was a comedian from the UK who was a big wrestling fan, he came out to Daniel Bryan's theme giving I the 'YES, YES, YES'. The crowd loved it. Mick came on stage to his WWE theme and said e was sick of his music so had to go off stage for a minute to sort something with the sound guy. 30 seconds later Fandango's music hit and everyone joined in, Mick came out with a dancer.

Mick talked about his time on the road in particular rooming with Steve Austin and Dallas Page. Mick and Steve managed to break DDP in 24 hours by filling DDP's bed with cookies. He also spoke about visiting a live sex show in Germany with The Rock and Al Snow.

The second half of the show was a Q&A session. The first question was from a fan who asked about the night that Owen Hart died. This was booed by the majority of the crowd. Mick gave an obvious answer about it being the darkest day for WWE.

The next question was about all he had achieved in wrestling and is there anything else he would like to do. Mick brought everyone back from the Owen question by saying, "Well, there are a couple of divas that I'd like to nail."

Foley spoke about the 2012 Hall of Fame and being in the parking lot after the show. He said he'd told his family that if he was inducted in 2013 then he would love to drop the elbow on Chris Jericho, which is why that happened at the Garden earlier this month. He also asked Vince McMahon about entering the HOF in Santa's Sleigh, which Vince immediately knocked back.

He was on stage for just under two hours and everyone loved it. I was luckily able to go backstage to meet Mick after the show and I found him to be a very down to earth guy. Hopefully he will be back again next year. If he is, then I will definitely attend and recommend everyone else do the same.
