The death of Nancy Argentino, then girlfriend of WWE star Jimmy Snuka, was chronicled 30 years later by The Morning Call. Argentino died of brain injuries at age 23 on May 11, 1983. Snuka told detectives in his official interview that Argentino slipped on the side of a highway. However, Snuka told the police officer and four hospital employees before the interview that he shoved Argentino and she struck her head.

"I feel like the police didn't take it as far as they should have," said Argentino's older sister Lorraine Salome. "The whole thing, for our family, is still up in the air. We still walk around wondering, 'What the hell?'" The case remains open 30 years later. Read the full story at Mcall.com/news/local/mc-jimmy-snuka-cold-case-20130608,0,3801215,full.story.

Powell's POV: Despite Snuka's roadside story, the autopsy results showed no sign of gravel or similar dirt particles on Argentino's head or scalp. She also had more than two dozen cuts and contusions on her head, ear, chin, arms, hands, back, buttocks, legs, and feet. Snuka continues to deny any wrongdoing and claimed in his autobiography that the the accusations that stem from Arngentino's life ruined his life. The fascinating story also includes details about Vincent Kennedy McMahon accompanying Snuka during the police interview. A highly recommended read.
