WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross closes his BBQ restaurant, online store will remain open

Jim Ross announced on Sunday that he is closing his "J.R.'s Bar-B-Q" restaurant in Norman, Oklahoma. Ross will continue to sell his BBQ products online and in select grocery stores. "At the end of the day, our business plan could not handle the shift in the economy or the rising overhead that we encountered," Ross wrote. "We make no excuses...

"In the upcoming weeks, my professional schedule is likely to change significantly. I've realized that there is only so much that I can pile on my plate so perhaps this unfortunate turn of events is a blessing in disguise." You can read the official announcement at JRsbarbq.com.

Powell's POV: Ross had two restaurants at one point, but he closed the restaurant in Moore, Oklahoma a while back. I'm happy the online store is still in business because I dig the BBQ sauce and highly recommend it. Meanwhile, it will be very interesting to see how Ross's professional schedule changes in the weeks ahead.
