WWE Hall of Fame date and location announced for next WrestleMania weekend

WWE will hold the 2009 Hall of Fame ceremony on Apr. 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston. The same venue will host Raw the night after WrestleMania 25. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]

Powell's POV: The Hall of Fame ceremony will be held the night before WrestleMania. Jim Ross made a logical pitch in his online blog to move the Hall of Fame to the Friday before WrestleMania. I like that idea because the Hall of Fame can be such a long, draining evening for the wrestlers and crew, and you'd think the company would give them a free night in between. For that matter, it would give the production team a full 24 hours to edit the footage if they chose to air it the night before WrestleMania.
