USA Network has its "best summer ever;" WWE Raw has its best year since 2001

The USA Network issued a press release today trumpeting its "best summer ever," in which their ratings were the best by any cable network ever. WWE Raw had its best summer since 2001 in terms of total viewers (5.72 million) and households (3.83 million). Of course, 2001 marked the end of WCW and ECW. To read the press release, click here.

Twill's Two Cents: Interesting numbers to say the least. Raw was not on the USA network during all of those years. Hopefully the upward trend in television viewers will force the Raw creative team to churn out quality shows and force those viewers to stick around.
