Triple H is internally considered a lock to win the WWE Title at WrestleMania 24. Plans could change, but with John Cena filming 12 Rounds full-time through mid-May, he is not expected to win the title. Rather, Triple H vs. Cena is expected to be a top summer feud. Randy Orton is a dark horse to retain his title at this point.
Powell’s POV: The news came out over the weekend that Undertaker is a strong favorite to win the World Hvt. Title. The WWE Title and World Hvt. Title outcomes seem rather predictable and putting the title on two aging wrestlers sends a message that WWE is stuck in the past. It’s important to remember that plans could change. At this point, I would rather see Orton keep the title and eventually drop it to Jeff Hardy, and I think most fans agree with that sentiment.
