WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt offered additional comments regarding the lawsuit that TNA filed against the company. He stated that WWE never told former employee Brian Wittenstein to share information about his previous employer TNA. "To us, it's no good deed goes unpunished kind of thing," McDevitt said. "They sued us for doing the right thing." To read the story, visit Doaneline.com/arts_and_entertainment/national/tv/article_8456b399-3f6e-5928-86eb-4ddec0b24dfb.html.
Powell's POV: McDevitt also stated that the company never asked Wittenstein to disclose information regarding TNA and that he was fired once he did. TNA alleges that Wittenstein provided WWE with confidential information including talent contractual details that would enable the company to poach TNA talent, and waited three weeks to inform TNA of the matter. The first hearing is scheduled for June 11.
