Steve Austin expressed further disappointment with the way WWE has handled the story line he pitched for Ric Flair’s retirement. “I haven’t really watched enough (WWE television) to see what’s going on, but I don’t think so just because Ric Flair is my favorite pro wrestler ever in the history of the business and (that story just isn’t as good as it could be or should be,” Austin told CraveOnline.com.
Austin also identified Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, Jack Brisco, and Dusty Rhodes as some of the wrestlers he wished he could have had a match with during his career.
Powell’s POV: Pretty much the standard interview Austin has been giving reporters while promoting the release of The Condemned DVD in the UK, and his latest WWE DVD. I guess he just forgot to mention Hulk Hogan.
