Former WWE and ECW Champion Rob Van Dam had much more to say in another part of a recent U.K. Sun interview. To read the interview, click here.
-RVD on working for TNA or WWE again: "It's possible. Never say never."
Twill's Two Cents: He went into much more detail and was very clear about only wanting to work a TNA-like schedule or something similar in WWE, if they were to offer it to him.
-RVD on a potential dream match with A.J. Styles: "I can tell you this — I don't sit at home and fantasise about matches with AJ Styles. I am a professional when I get in the ring. But as far as personal matches that go through my mind, and working with this guy or that guy, I don't give a f--- about that."
Twill's Two Cents: I know some wrestlers look forward to working with certain talents, but even with that, I think fans clamor for these dream matchups more than the wrestlers do. That being said, I'd love to see a properly built up match between Van Dam and Styles.
RVD on working with Paul Heyman again: "I do talk to Paul a lot and we do chat about hypothetical situations and what's going on in our minds. I will always be a soldier for Paul and always have interest in hearing anything that he's got to say. If he asked me to do him a favour then of course I would."
Twill's Two Cents: The question asked was whether RVD would team up with Heyman to start a new wrestling company with Heyman at the helm. It seems even the interviewer here still misses the old ECW and any thought of a potential rebirth is attractive. I doubt it would ever happen, but if it did, I'd be excited like most old ECW fans.
