New WWE Champion crowned on Monday's Raw

The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship on Monday's Raw. Orton had defeated Wade Barrett with help from John Cena, who interfered. However, Orton was laid out by The Nexus before his match with Barrett, leaving him with an injured knee and prone for Miz's attack.

Twill's Two Cents: Miz cashing in capped a very good episode of Raw and was one of the most exciting moments of 2010 in WWE. I mentioned in my report I hadn't heard my excitement from the announcers (except for perhaps at WrestleMania) all year. The crowd was very hot for this and it came across very well.
