NWA advertising Ric Flair for their Hall of Fame ceremony

The NWA issued a press release to announce that Ric Flair will appear at the June 7 show in Atlanta, Ga., where he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. "With Ric Flair's involvement, I'd say our 60th Anniversary event is truly going to be a history making one," NWA Executive Director Robert K. Trobich states in a press release. "I have been around the NWA longer than anyone and I can tell you this marks the first time in close to 20 years that Flair is going to step into an NWA building." Powell’s POV: That would be one hell of a coup if the NWA can get Flair to appear as advertised. It could save the show, as initial ticket sales were reportedly slow. It would be a classy move if WWE agreed to let Flair be inducted by the NWA.
