WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com.The following items are among the highlights.

-Ross on Bob Barker: “Bob Barker, in his 80's, did a stellar job hosting Raw. A true pro in a unique environment came thru. Bob proved AARP members can still get the job done.”

Twill’s Two Cents: Barker was and is amazing. He is a true television legend and he was the biggest star of the show on Monday.

-Ross on Chris Jericho vs. MVP: “Jericho vs. MVP was an excellent outing. Hopefully, their bout will add more interest to Sunday's PPV.”

Twill’s Two Cents: Agreed. I mentioned in my report that MVP needed that win and top guys can take losses while still looking strong. Jericho takes a lot of losses and is still a legit main event guy.

-Ross on Batista: “Will Batista announce his retirement Monday in Toronto? I hope not...I think not...but he could. Big Dave has had to battle thru numerous injuries. When is enough..enough?”

Twill’s Two Cents: It’s odd to me that WWE is not hyping the hell out of Batista making an announcement on Monday. Sure, they ran a commercial during Raw, but it was mysteriously glazed over while it should be a huge deal. Maybe the lack of intrigue is to create intrigue.

Other topics include Oklahama football, the Breaking Point pay-per-view, and Montreal as a wrestling city.
