WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights. To order J.R.'s BBQ products, visit WWEShop.com.

-Ross on WrestleMania 30 weekend show: "'RINGSIDE: An Evening with Jim Ross' will make a stop in New Orleans at the House of Blues for a show on Thursday April 3. I'm biased but I'm thinking this is a great way to kickoff all the WrestleMania activities in NOLA for WM30. Spread the word and I hope to see many of you there for a fun evening. It's an 18 or over show due to the venue. Ticket info coming ASAP but the date is set. I hope that you will make our show a part of your WrestleMania 30 experience while you are visiting New Orleans."

Powell's POV: I'm surprised there's only one show, but that should make it that much more in demand for fans who are in New Orleans on Thursday. The venue holds 843 fans, so you'd be wise to jump on these tickets once they go on sale if you hope to attend.

-Ross on Daniel Bryan: "Daniel Bryan sitting on top of the cage and the sold out crowd chanting Yes! Yes! Yes! was Austin-esque in my eyes. The closing moments of Raw is what one always looks to achieve when formatting a TV show. That special moment that becomes a 'moment.' Daniel Bryan is a legit bookers dream. Highly skilled and can make anyone that he competes with appear better, no locker room issues or bad, personal habits and he's respectful and reliable. The perfect pro. Good role model for any young talent wanting to succeed."

Powell's POV: The production team did a hell of a job of capturing the closing scene with Bryan on top of the cage and had a great shot that included the fans chanting along with him. I still question the approach and believe an audible was called, but there's no doubt that Bryan came out of this smelling like a rose.

-Ross on his Podcast One show: "Podcast One and I are working on the format of my upcoming podcast project that will launch in the middle of February likely on Mondays. Looking to be different from the other interview show podcasts even though I will have guests."

Powell's POV: I'm looking forward to seeing what Ross comes up with to keep his show unique since Steve Austin and Chris Jericho are both doing a lot of interviews on their respective (and highly entertaining) podcasts.

Other topics include The Wyatt Family coming out of the Daniel Bryan angle, Ultimate Warrior going into the WWE Hall of Fame, updated Q&A's, and much more.
