WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights. To order J.R.'s BBQ products, visit WWEShop.com.

-Ross on The Shield: "Any one who can conclusively say who out of the Shield is going to spin out the trio and become THE top, singles star is zooming themselves. There are too many uncontrollable variables to factor into that equation to put all one's cash on one talent."

Powell's POV: I had this question come up in Monday's member exclusive Q&A audio show. I came to a similar conclusion. Seth Rollins is the best worker, Dean Ambrose is the best talker, and Roman Reigns has the size, power, and a unique look. It's simply too soon to say and each wrestler is still improving. All three men clearly have very bright futures with the company.

-Ross on Jack Swagger: "Thought Jack Swagger had a beastly appearance on Raw in Roanoke. Perry, Oklahoma's second toughest man is nasty with a ladder in his hands."

Powell's POV: Swagger looked like a major league badass during that segment. We've seen a lot of lighthearted comedy with Swagger over the years, but if he can be money if he's this aggressive on a consistent basis.

-Ross on Jerry Lawler returning to the ring: "Read online that @JerryLawler is returning to the ring for Dory Funk, Jr promotion in Ocala, Florida on May 25. I haven't talked to Jerry in a good while but wish him well if this is what he wants to do. Obviously, King's cardiologist has been consulted one would assume on this matter. Jerry had much rather wrestle than announce any day and he's getting back in the ring north of 60 years of age because he loves it and not because he needs the cash. I wish him the best as always."

Powell's POV: This is scheduled to be The King's first match back in the ring since he suffered his heart attack. He's consistently stated all along that he wants to continue wrestling and his doctor said early on that he thought Lawler would be able to do so. Here's wishing him the best.

Other topics include Ross's old office space being used in the Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman segment, teaming up with Shawn Michaels, Mark Henry, new Ross projects, strap matches, and more.
