WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights. To order J.R.'s BBQ products, visit WWEShop.com.
-Ross on Undertaker: "Will the Undertaker wrestle at WM29? I honestly and truly have no idea. However, I don't believe all that I read online from those who are speculating multiple tales regarding the subject. Do I think that the Undertaker is done? No. Absolutely not."
Powell's POV: Triple H told us we haven't seen the last of Undertaker and now Ross chimed in with his opinion that we haven't seen the last of him, though he doesn't know if he will be at WrestleMania. We do know that Taker will be working WrestleMania weekend, as he is advertised for a VIP autograph session as part of WWE Axxess. Whether he wrestles remains to be seen, though I will continue to believe he will wrestle until we hear definitively that he will not.
-Ross on the Royal Rumble match MVP: "Who was the MVP of the Royal Rumble PPV? Another subjective question with multiple right answers but for me, in my personal opinion, it was Chris Jericho, @IAmJericho. That's no knock on any of the other 'boys.' I think the live audience attending in Phoenix would likely agree."
Powell's POV: Jericho's work in the match combined with the way his surprise return got the match off to a strong start makes it hard to argue with Ross's assessment.
-Ross on whether he will broadcast Raw again: When are you returning to broadcast Monday Night Raw? I have zero plans on returning to weekly TV at this time. Don't get me wrong I still have great passion for broadcasting in WWE but not for the weekly travel that it takes to facilitate such. When WWE wants to utilize me at a specific event, they will. @MichaelCole and @Jerrylawler are where they need to be.
Powell's POV: As you can tell, Ross answered a round of questions he gets on a regular basis in blog. As always, we're only running the highlights, so check out the rest via his actual website.
Other topics include whether there will be a UK PPV, the two matches that influenced Ross's career the most, and whether Bruno Sammartino would have made it in today's pro wrestling business.
