Jim Ross comments on Jerry Lawler medical scare

Jim Ross stated that there are no medical updates regarding Jerry Lawler in a Twitter post at Twitter.com/JRsBBQ on Monday night. " know what you know re: Jerry Lawler's medical condition," Ross wrote. "My dear friend will fight. Please pray for him. We're all hurting.

Ross followed up by writing: "No updates on the King. Hospitalized in Montreal. Tests being done. Going to be a long night here in (Oklahoma). Wish I was in Montreal. Pray.

Powell's POV: Ross originally wrote that he was shaken by the news and noted that he felt helpless. Lawler and Ross are longtime friends in addition to their working relationship on the WWE broadcast team.
