WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights. To order J.R.'s BBQ products, visit WWEShop.com.

-Ross on WWE Old School Raw: "Been asked many times on Twitter @JRsBBQ and via Q&A's here whether I will be a part of this Monday's Old School Raw in Baltimore. I will not. I do plan on trying to watch it on TV but I will not be a part of the broadcast. There's really no viable role for me to fill and it's much too far to fly in for a backstage 'cameo.' Raw certainly doesn't need a fourth voice at the broadcast table partaking in 'witty repartee.' Nonetheless I hope that Raw is entertaining and is respectful to the returning 'Old Schoolers.'"

Powell's POV: WWE could always find a spot for Ross on the Old School show. Michael Cole would probably enjoy a one match, one hour, or even one full show break considering the schedule they have him working these days. That said, it doesn't sound like Ross expects to be in Baltimore on Monday.

-Ross on hanging with Toby Keith: "Enjoyed visiting with my Okie friend Toby Keith in NOLA as we stayed at the same hotel for the Sugar Bowl and had dinner together Wednesday night. We talked a little pro wrestling business and philosophy as Toby is a fan and a very successful business man to go along with his amazing singing career."

Powell's POV: The cat is out of the bag regarding Keith's recent interest in purchasing TNA Wrestling. Given Jeff Jarrett's departure from TNA, my guess is that won't be happening. However, there's certainly plenty of speculation within the industry that Keith and Jarrett may have another pro wrestling related venture in the works.

-Ross on Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 30: "No...I still don't believe Hulk Hogan NEEDS to have a single's match at WM30 to help contribute to the event's success. However, if he does wrestle,I'll be interested in watching it. I'd say the issue of Hulk wrestling at a WrestleMania is a now or never matter considering Mother Nature's contributions to his health and age. I hope that @HulkHogan gets one more 'moment.'"

Powell's POV: Some punching, some kicking, some selling, and a whole lot of posing. If Hogan appears at WrestleMania, that's the formula I anticipate seeing from him whether it's a singles match or the more likely tag match, if there's even a match.

Other topics include WrestleMania 30 signage in New Orleans, more on the Sugar Bowl, the coaching future of Bob Stoops, the Daniel Bryan and Wyatt Family storyline, Alabama football fans, an evening with Jim Ross in NYC.
