WWE legend Jake Roberts credited Vince McMahon with saving his life because WWE is paying for his stay in a rehabilitation facility. “Vince McMahon and the WWE saved my life, plain and simple,” Roberts wrote in a message posted Myspace Blog. on Monday. “Do I like it? The fact is, I don't. But I am damned sure grateful. NO I don't like having slid to where I was at, feeling like I did. NO, oh no, but the truth is I was a dead man walking. Still breathing, heart still beating, but my soul was dead and gone. So thank all of you, my friends, my family, my fans, especially Vince McMahon. Thank you for tossing me that life preserver. Yes Vince you threw me a life preserver, and I grabbed hold of it.”

Powell’s POV: WWE is also paying for Scott Hall and Ron Simmons’ stays in the same rehab facility as Roberts. The bill for the time Sean Waltman is spending in a Houston facility is also being picked up by the company. In fact, I was told that WWE paid for Kevin Nash to travel to and from Mexico to pick up Waltman and escort him to the facility.
