Former WWE wrestler John Morrison spoke with the WWE website to promote his "Out of Your Mind Fitness" training program and was asked what life has been like since leaving the company 18 months ago. "Life is a pretty awesome ride," Morrison said. "Since stepping off [the WWE] train, I've been writing some [film] shorts and feature that I'm hoping to produce and star in. I just wrapped a movie deal called The Factory. I've also been training for stunt work, acting for some independent classics, and working out."

Morrison was asked about his former tag team partner The Miz. "The Miz went and became a good guy, which defies logic to me. Although I’d love to kick his ass for that last night I was on Raw, now I guess that means we’d be on the same side. I can’t believe he’s doing the Figure-Four. I mean, it’s a great hold. Ric Flair made it what it is. If you’re going to steal from somebody, why not steal from the best? It’s not a bad decision.

Morrison was also asked about the possibility of returning to WWE. "By the time you hear the thunder, it will be too late because the lightning would have already struck." Read more at WWE.com.

Powell's POV: Morrison spoke a lot about his new fitness program, which you can check out at Ooymfitness.com. He also spoke about still watching Raw and the wrestlers who have impressed him most since his departure.
