Former WWE Superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin spoke with Arda Ocal of The Score and Baltimore Sun on Ocal's radio show and discussed several topics, including the ratings record for his "Redneck Island" show on CMT, WWE '13, the Jerry Lawler heart attack angle from Raw, and why he never wrestled Hulk Hogan. You can see the full video at http://youtu.be/ksSmhedffcY. Among the highlights:

-Austin on the Jerry Lawler heart attack angle from Raw: "I believe in pushing the envelope in an aggressive fashion, but when a guy damn near dies at ringside, let it go."

-Austin on why he never wrestled Hulk Hogan: "It could have happened. I just never really wanted to wrestle the guy I guess. That's the most honest answer. That's a matchup that looks good on paper, but I don't think it would have looked that good once it got in the ring."

Shore's Slant: A good interview with Austin that also talks about him wrestling CM Punk, but nothing new on that front. I have to say, I'm a bit surprised Austin was critical of the Lawler angle. I don't disagree, but I would have bet on his being OK with it.
