Former WWE Champion Batista announces his first MMA fight

Former WWE Champion Batista (a/k/a Dave Bautista) announced that he will have his first MMA fight on October 6 at the Duncan Doughnuts Theater in Providence, R.I. The 43 year-old will face Rashid Evans in a fight that TMZ.com reports will be televised.

Powell's POV: Batista is fighting for something called the CES MMA league. Don't confuse his opponent with UFC star Rashad Evans, as they are not the same person. Although the story states that the fight will be televised, there is no word on who intends to televise the fight.
