Low Ki has signed with WWE. "Associated Press: It is with great excitement that we announce 'The World Warrior' LOW-KI has joined World Wrestling Entertainment!," reads an item on Low Ki's website. "Speculation had been in circulation after he participated in a non televised match November 4, 2008. Nothing was confirmed or reported, since it was assumed that he was still contractually obligated to compete in New Japan Pro Wrestling and was the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion. After NJPW's 'Wrestle Kingdom' events, contract negotiations begin for the new year." To read the full item, visit Low-Ki.com.

Powell's POV: The story also notes that Low Ki defeated Trent Berretta in a Florida Championship Wrestling match, which took place earlier this week. This is a good signing for WWE, as Low Ki is a unique performer and I look forward to seeing how he is used. As previously noted, there was a push to make him a heel clone of Rey Mysterio at one time, but I don't know if WWE will follow through on that plan.
