Footage of Big Show and Floyd Mayweather angle, Shane put deal together

If you missed last night’s WWE “No Way Out” pay-per-view event, you can view footage of the Big Show and Floyd Mayweather angle at the U.K. Sun website. An accompanying article notes that Shane McMahon put the Mayweather deal together after more than a year of negotiations.

Powell’s POV: This is a major deal for WWE and Shane McMahon. Floyd is a huge pay-per-view boxing draw and he’s an excellent promoter. I’ve heard him interviewed several times and he always comes across well and knows how to sell a fight. Of course, the big question is whether boxing fans will pay to see him take part in a pro wrestling match. ESPN.com has yet to pick up on the story and ESPNews has yet to run highlights from the pay-per-view, which is a shame because the slow-motion footage and the shot of Show after the fact are excellent. WWE has to be disappointed that this has not picked up more mainstream attention so far.
