WWE alumni Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Ric Flair, and Torrie Wilson are quoted in a Tampa Tribune story written by Paul Guzzo regarding The Boddy Shoppe Gym in Florida. "I attribute my experience with Al (Rosen) and the entire gang as something that tremendously propelled me into more amazing opportunities," Wilson said.

The Rock also expressed his admiration for the gym. "It’s the type of place I wish existed today — no air condition, no frills, no pristine machines, and for the love of all that’s holy in the world of fitness, no pastel colors on the wall," he said. "Just iron, sweat and joyful grunting, and the men were even louder." Read the full story at Tbo.com/health/celeb-driven-tampa-gym-lives-on-with-fitness-competition-20131110/

Powell's POV: Flair noted that the gym was the place to be during it's 20-year run in Tampa. Rosen goes way back with Rock's family. He is the father of Milton Rosen, who suffers from severe Down syndrome. Rock has referred to Milton as his brother and has had him at numerous WWE events over the years. It's a cool story that also mentions additional pro wrestlers and other famous athletes who worked out at the gym at one time.
