-Jim Ross mentioned in his online blog that he is not willing to travel to WWE headquarters on Wednesdays to do voiceovers for the Smackdown show. He noted that he could have a DSL line placed in his house an do the voiceovers from there. As mentioned in the Prowrestling.net Podcast this morning and in another podcast last week, Michael Cole moved to Texas a while back and had a similar setup installed in his home for that purpose.

-WWE originally planned to save the Triple H vs. John Cena match for SummerSlam. However, the plan to move the match to the Night of Champions pay-per-view was made sometime around WrestleMania 24.

Powell's POV: One person I spoke with today speculated that Ross may already have the voiceover equipment in his house, as he recently did voiceovers for a WWE video game from home.

The sources I spoke with are not sure whether Triple H made the decision to move to Smackdown as far back as WrestleMania. Make no mistake, though, he was well aware that he was being moved before his name was announced on Raw last night. Smackdown lead writer Michael Hayes has been nudging him for a long time about making the move to Smackdown.
