Dot Net Exclusive: Mysterio scheduled for surgery, unlikely to wrestle at WrestleMania 24
Feb 18, 2008 - 11:22 PM

Rey Mysterio is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his torn biceps muscle on Friday. If he goes through with the surgery, he will miss between four and six months and would not be able to take part in the rumored tag match with Floyd Mayweather against Big Show and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 24.

Powell’s POV: Mysterio had his heart set on wrestling the match because he realizes how important it is to the company and his career. However, he has been assured that he will still be involved in the angle in some capacity. Tough break.
