Floyd Mayweather ended his run with WWE on great terms. Sources labeled him as "bright," "humble," and "respectful" throughout his run in WWE. He posed for pictures with just about every wrestler at WrestleMania 24 on Sunday and took his the entire experience very seriously. More than one person with the company has stated that he was the best celebrity they've ever done business with.

Big Show got along well with Mayweather, but he wasn't particularly fond of certain members of his posse, according to a source. Nevertheless, he considered Mayweather to be very levelheaded for a person who has made as much money as he has at such a young age.

Powell's POV: Mayweather gave WWE officials the impression that he has only one fight left on his deal with Golden Boy promotions. He is planning to launch his own promotional company and the feeling is that his WWE experience served as on the job training to some extent. He learned a lot and wasn't afraid to express that to people backstage.

WWE officials are definitely open to the idea of working with Floyd again, but there are currently nothing on the books. His next move will be preparing for his fight with Oscar De La Hoya in September. It's possible he could do some type of promotional appearance to hype that fight and WWE is definitely open to the idea of helping him promote future fights, but there's no reason to think he'll return to the wrestling ring anytime soon.
