Chris Jericho hinted that his feud with Shawn Michaels will end at Sunday's WWE No Mercy pay-per-view during an interview with the UK Sun. "I know not every angle will be like that, it's a once-in-a-career type thing. But it doesn't mean I'm just going to pack up and go home after Sunday. I just have to start working with the next guy and go on from there... I think it's going to be a great ending to one of the best feuds, one of the best angles, of all time — that I can guarantee."
Jericho also discussed the creative influence that he and Michaels had in the feud. "The angle with Shawn did have a lot of input from us two veterans. We weren’t just throwing ideas against the wall, we had a plan. And that’s one of the reasons why the angle has been so memorable. It wasn’t just manufactured in an office. It came from our experiences and our lives." To read the full article with more quotes from Jericho, visit the UK Sun website.
Powell's POV: Interesting interview. The story going around last week was that Jericho and Michaels had a plan to stretch the feud out through WrestleMania, so perhaps they'll revisit it again in the future. Either way, the ladder match should be a classic and it's the main reason I'm looking forward to the pay-per-view on Sunday.
