C.M. Punk revealed that he's not allowed to wear street clothes on television when he was asked why no one bothers him near his home area of Chicago during an interview with TimeoutChicago.com. "I have tattoos and I look like everyone else when I’m not in my underwear [trunks]," Punk said while discussing his neighborhood, which is known as "The Crotch."

"Actually, I’m not allowed to wear my street clothes on TV because Vince McMahon says I don’t look like C.M. Punk when I’m not in my gear. And hipsters either don’t watch TV or they’re too cool to admit they watch wrestling. So no one even talks to me." To read the interview, click here.

Powell's POV: By the way, Punk also noted that he's having second thoughts about where he lives now that he knows it's referred to as "The Crotch." This really needs to be worked into his ring introduction at some point. It's a lighthearted interview, as Punk explains that his GTS finisher is too quick and painless for people who put ketchup on hot dogs.
