Breaking WWE News: New television show debuting in October, Vince McMahon comments

WWE is partnering with Ion Television to produce a new weekly series called "WWE Main Event. The show will debut on October 3 and will air on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. CT. The show will feature "in-ring action and fit in storylines from" Raw and Smackdown.

"WWE looks forward to this new partnership with ION Television,” said Vince McMahon stated. "We are excited about producing this new television show, WWE Main Event, and bringing our fans to ION Television every Wednesday." Powell's POV: The press release also touts that the series will offer "a big arena experience with live audiences like current WWE weekly programs." In other words, all signs point to the show being taped at Raw or Smackdown. ION airs on 305 and 347 on DirecTV, and on 216 and 217 on Dish Network. Check local listings to find out where the network airs on cable or over the air in your area.
