-John Cena is unlikely to appear on the January 4 Raw. As previously noted, he will be the grand marshall of the Fiesta Bowl Parade that day.

-The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Team 3D are unlikely to appear on the Jan. 4 show. The duo will be in Japan that day working for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Powell's POV: There's always a chance that WWE could do something pre-taped with Cena or even something via satellite from Arizona. Cena is actually scheduled to flip the coin prior to the game at 7:00 p.m. CT, so unless that changes there's no chance the company could fly him to Dayton, Oh. in time to take part in the show.

Team 3D will be defending the IWGP Tag Titles against Team No Limit, who previously had a run in TNA. The New Japan president stated over the weekend that they were hoping to bring in Hulk Hogan for the Jan. 4 event, but they were unable to do so because TNA needed him that night.
