Dot Net reader Andrew Quick attended the WWE Smackdown taping in Bloomington, Ill. on Tuesday and passed along the following report.

Smackdown started with Kane challenging the Undertaker.

1. Kane smashed Chris Masters in a matter of minutes. Kane did a great promo and went through the crowd talking about how he was the greatest. Great promo.

2. Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes beat The Hart Dynatsy in a few minutes. Good back and forth action.

Undertaker was shown backstage.

Albert Del Rio was shown beating Christian backstage. Del Rio came out and cut a promo. It hard to hear, though.

3. Big Show defeated Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer in a handicap match. Show won quickly.

Jack Swagger was interviewed. Hornswoggle and the Dudebusters mess with him a bit. I couldn't hear it, but seemed comedy more then anything.

Undertaker was shown again. And seemed to come out of the room..

Kane came out and challenged Taker to a Hell in a Cell match. Kane opened the casket next to the ring to find PAUL BEARER inside the casket. Taker arrived to fight a bit, Kane left, presumably to end the show.

Dark Match

1. Undertaker beat Kane by DQ in a World Hvt. Championship match. They went at it for about ten minutes. Kane low-blowed Taker for the DQ. Afterward, Taker posed with Bearer for a while. Great ending. Bearer also carried an urn. Not suré what the purpose of the urn was.

Notes: Good show.. The U.S. Cellular Coliseum is an ALL lower bowl style, plus floor. The entire "Non TV" side was covered.. Plus the end of the horseshoe side was half the rows covered up. There were probably 4,000 people in attendance. Tough crowd. The fans seemed to be noisy, though. Not sure how it plays out on television. I know I was on the ramp 4th row in a striped polo shirt when the guys walked by! Had a great time with my girlfriend. Next time hopefully not a 2.5 hour drive from Clinton, Ia.
