Dot Net reader Rebecca O'Brien attended the WWE Smackdown taping in Dayton, Ohio and sent the following report.

The show opened with all the Smackdown superstars coming to the ring, followed by John Laurinaitis. Most of what he said was drowned out by the crowd, but the gist of it was that he now believed Triple H had complete control of the situation. He then introduced the new WHC Mark Henry, who briefly talked to the superstars before HHH came out.

Before he could say anything, Christian interrupted. Again, what he said was largely drowned out (from where I was sitting), but it ended with Hunter making the main event a lumberjack match (with the Smackdown roster as lumberjacks), and it being Christian vs. Mark Henry for the WHC.

1. Sheamus defeated Heath Slater.

2. Wade Barrett beat Justin Gabriel.

3. Beth Phoenix and Natalya beat AJ and Kaitlyn.

4. Cody Rhodes beat Randy Orton by DQ. Cody yanked his mask off and decked Randy with it, but the ref didn't notice because Cody quickly slipped it back on. Randy got so angry that he yanked Cody's mask off and decked him with it, of course forcing a DQ. Then Randy just snapped. He threw Cody out of the ring and hit him with the ring bell, cutting him open!!!

I do not know how much of this will end up on TV, but there was blood EVERYWHERE. THey actually had to stop for a few minutes because Cody was bleeding so badly. Then Randy continued and RKO'd Cody not once but twice on the announce table (again, not sure how much of that will appear on tv). It was an intense match.

5. The Great Khali beat Jinder Mahal.

6. Sin Cara beat Daniel Bryan.

7. Air Boom beat The Uso Brothers.

8. Mark Henry beat Christian in a lumberjack match. I don't know if this shows up, but at the end, Randy Orton did a run in and beat up Mark Henry. The WHC match that followed was the dark main event.

Besides the main event, the best match was Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes (non title match).

The arena was not full. Not only was half the building curtained off, but the half not facing camera was empty the whole night.

At the very end, after the dark main event, Sheamus and Randy posed, shook hands, and Sheamus even signed a few autographs before leaving.
