5/8 WWE NXT taping spoilers: Full coverage of the taping for Wednesday's online show (spoilers)

Dot Net reader Scott Grubb and Josh are at the WWE Smackdown taping in Roanoke, Va. and is passing along the following updates on the WWE NXT taping.

Dark Match

1. Bo Rotunda beat Derrick Bateman. Rotunda won by pinfall. Afterward, Bateman was escorted to the back by a doctor.

WWE NXT Taping

William Regal and Matt Striker started off the show by talking about Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins being fired. They said something about them being here tonight, and wanting to talk to security. Reks and Hawkins came out and said that they have been hired as security for NXT. Regal said something about how they should be worried about being fired.

1. Maxine defeated Tamina. Maxine won via submission.

2. JTG (w/Alicia Fox) beat Yoshi Tatsu. JTG won with the Shoutout in a short match. Alicia Fox walked with JTG to the ring. He had a new look, kinda like a mix between Dolph and Cody Rhodes. Seriously.

3. Percy Watson and Tyson Kidd defeated Michael McGillicutty and Johnny Curtis. A very good match, and a great showing by Kidd. Watson and Kidd were attacked by Reks and Hawkins.
