Dot Net reader Zach Greenwell attended last night's Superstars taping in Nashville, Tenn and passed along the following information:

Apparently, Michael P.S. Hayes is the new manager of Tyson Kidd. Hayes cut a promo about how every team needs a coach and every coach needs players, and that he has a player in Tyson Kidd. He said he chose Kidd because of his killer instinct, which most other wrestlers today don't have. Looks like maybe a mid-card push for Kidd.

Kidd beat Trent Baretta in a match that probably went about 10 minutes. It rivaled Sin Cara vs. Daniel Bryan (Smackdown taping) for best match of the night, and it was one of the better things I've seen from Superstars in a while. There were a ton of near falls, but Kidd eventually won with a Sharpshooter.

Shore's Slant: First Vickie Guerrero, then Michael Cole (part-time) and now Hayes? Are we seeing a rebirth of the wrestling manager? I've always thought managers were a good idea, so I'm hoping this is the way they are going. I may actually watch Superstars just to see how this goes.
