A video appeared on TitanTron and played the theme from WrestleMania 29. There were mixed reactions for John Cena and The Rock when they were shown on the TitanTron.

Dark Match

1. Alicia Fox defeated Aksana. First match of the night for Main Event is a Divas match. Not much reaction for either superstar. A basic divas match in about two or three minutes.

WWE Main Event Taping

Michael Cole came out to a pretty decent pop. JBL was out next with a loud pop and the Main Event theme played.

Wade Barrett cut a really short promo. The Great Khali made his entrance for the battle royal and the other participants are Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Santino Marella, Alex Riley, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, and Yoshi Tatsu.

1. Justin Gabriel a ten-man battle royal to earn an Intercontinental Title match. Khali threw out two and a small Alex Riley chant broke out. Everyone went after Khali and tossed him out of ring. Alex Riley was out next. Primo, Drew McIntyre, Santino, and Justin Gabriel were left in the ring. Santino pulled out The Cobra and then he was eliminated just like that after one cobra chop. Drew, Primo, and Justin were the final three. Justin eliminated McIntrye and Primo to win the battle royal and will face Wade Barrett tonight for the Intercontinental Championship later in the show.

A video from Monday Night Raw of CM Punk promo was shown, as was a message from Paul Heyman was shown regarding the Triple H and Brock Lesnar match. Another video from Raw was shown of 3MB and Brock Lesnar.

Wade Barrett was interviewed backstage about his match tonight. He came out to a half decent pop mixed with a few boos here and there. Justin Gabriel was out next to a few cheers but it seemed like most fans were not interested.

2. Wade Barrett defeated Justin Gabriel to retain the Intercontinental Title. Scott Armstrong was the official for this match. A pretty decent match but the crowd was dead at times. The momentum picked up and the crowd got into it. Wade Barrett won by pinfall. It was a decent match for Main Event.

Michael Cole went going ape shit on the commentary from what George tell, but he couldn't make out what he was saying. A chant for JBL went through the arena and JBL acknowledged it from his broadcast chair.

A video of the Mick Foley played as the crew set up for the next taping.
