Dot Net reader Josh Weiner is at the WWE Raw show in Chicago, Ill. and is sending the results of the matches taped for Friday's WWE Smackdown television show. You will need to refresh the page for the latest updates.

1. Kofi Kingston defeated Wade Barrett by DQ in an Intercontinental Title match. Wade controlled most of the early action. Kofi hit his corner kick and a top rope cross body for a two count. Kofi hit the Boom Drop and went for Trouble in Paradise but was met with a kick to the face for a near fall. Kofi hit a nice move and almost had a two count that was broken up by The Corre. Santino and Kozlov hit the ring but were laid out. Big pyro for Kane and Big Show. The faces cleared the ring and had a stare down with The Corre.

Jerry Lawler out to cut a promo against Michael Cole. Good promo by Lawler. Short and to the point. The King has new music.

2. Cody Rhodes defeated Chris Masters. Taz... er … Kane... No, it's Cody Rhodes under a black towel. Gimmick Infringement!!! Cole returned during this match (he left prior to Jerry's promo). Seemed slightly longer than the recent Cody squashes. In the end, a side headbutt and CrossRhodes later and Cody got the win. Rey Mysterio ran down and tried to hit the 619 three different times, but Cody wasn't having it.

Dark Main Event

1. Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Edge, John Cena beat C.M. Punk, Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz in an eight-man tag match. The announcers left and there was no pyro for the match. Punk actually did the Earthquake splash on John Cena, complete with tremors and everything! Forget Miz - Punk is Awesome! Miz tried the People's Elbow on Cena but John rolled out of the way.

There was a big brawl with all eight men in the ring. Del Rio was left alone to eat a Spear, 619, RKO, and a Top Rope Splash from Rey for the pin. Apparently, Cena was too good to hit the AA. The faces celebrated and that ended the show from Chi-Town. Rey and Edge jokingly beat up Tony Chimel. Cena left through the crowd, but I lost track of Randall Keith Orton.
