TNA Basebrawl live event
Memphis, Tennessee at AutoZone Park
Report by Dot Net reader Michael Terry

This was my first TNA event. Only about 500 people showed up.

1. Madison Rayne defeated Velvet Sky. Velvet was really over with the crowd, as she was signing autographs earlier.

2. Mr. Anderson defeated D'Angelo Dinero in a Bound For Glory Series match. Anderson won with a Mic Check and picked up seven points. Anderson was more over with the crowd than Pope was.

3. James Storm defeated Magnus in a Bound For Glory Series match. Storm went over with the Last Call. He was really over with the crowd and Magnus was jeered with USA chants.

4. Jeff Hardy defeated Crimson. Hardy was really over with the crowd, while Crimson really got no heat at all. It was like no one cared about him. It was a good match that Hardy won with the Twist of Fate in roughly 12 minutes.

5. Daniels and Kazarian defeated Garett Bischoff and Devon to retain the TNA Tag Titles. Nothing special. The chaps retained in roughly 13 minutes.

6. Austin Aries defeated Bobby Roode to retain the TNA Title. This was probably the best match of the night. Roode got major heat from the crowd and is the top heel in the company by far. Overall, a good match that spilled into the seats at one point and even onto the infield of the baseball field. Aries retained in 15 minutes using the Brainbuster.

Notes: An okay show overall with nothing really special. They had a deal gave fans who purchased Beer Money action figures a chance to meet Bobby Roode and James Storm to have the figures autographed.

Best Pops
1. Jeff Hardy
2. James Storm
3. Austin Aries

Most Heat
1. Bobby Roode
2. Kazarian and Daniels
3. Magnus
