TNA "VIP Weekend Package:" A full report from a reader who attended Against All Odds as a VIP
Feb 16, 2012 - 07:32 PM

Dot Net reader Ben Hough attended TNA's Against All Odds on the VIP Weekend Package and sent along the following report on the event.

This was the second time we had did a "VIP Weekend Package" for the shows in Orlando, as we also went down last year for Against All Odds 2011. You got to go to the PPV and the next set of two tapings and got first choice at available seats each night.

On Saturday evening, there was a special catered dinner party for those who purchased the packages. The event featured a dinner and meet and greet with several TNA stars including Matt Morgan and Crimson, Tara, Magnus, AJ Styles, and TNA personalities Jeremy Borash and So Cal Val.

You were able to get an 8 x 10 signed by each star and also an in ring photo opportunity with Matt Morgan and Crimson. It was a very fun evening and the stars were all approachable and very friendly. Morgan and Crimson were especially kind and generous with their time. Tara was having a great time interacting with everyone and was joking and mingling with everyone throughout the evening.

TNA really goes out of there way to make sure everyone who purchases a "VIP" package gets treated well. They made everyone feel special. The dinner tables were set up around the Impact Ring which was really cool. The dinner party lasted around 2 hours.

After Mondays taping, The VIP package holders had a meet and greet with Eric Young and ODB. Young was cracking everyone up with his facial expressions. It was another fun, albeit quick meet and greet session.

On Tuesday, Mickie James and Velvet Sky did the post show Meet and Greet with the VIP holders. They were posing for pics and signing for awhile. They were very gracious with there time and made sure everyone got a pic and an 8 x 10. Once again, TNA made every VIP holder feel like they were important.

On a side note, On Monday afternoon, Jeff Hardy did a meet and greet inside the Universal theme park. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for how kind and friendly he was with my eight year old daughter. He made sure to sign her t-shirt and an 8 x 10.

Afterward, she went into a photo store and they had a cool matted photo of Jeff. On the way out, even though we had already been in line and got our photos, Jeff had her come back over, talked to her for a minute, signed the photo, and gave her a hug. It made her entire weekend. It is something she will never forget.

I can't say enough how fun the weekend was. TNA and there entire staff deserve kudos for what they put together. They really made us feel special the entire weekend and It a weekend my family will never forget.

Is WWE Raw expanding to three hours per week a good move for business?
Yes. It's an extra hour of exposure and presumably a better programming fee.
No. This is overexposure. See WCW Nitro.
