4/5 TNA in Westbury, N.Y.: Sting and Jeff Hardy vs. Team 3D with stipulation set by Hulk Hogan, A.J. Styles vs. Austin Aries, Bobby Roode vs. James Storm in a Street Fight, Samoa Joe vs. Austin Aries

I think TNA is mostly garbage, but this blew the WWE house show last week out of the water. The venue was maybe 3/4 full. I estimate around 1,500 people, but it was hard to tell. It was an interesting mix of families with young kids and the type of internet fans who start E-C-W chants. The show was three hours long.

1. Joseph Parks beat Robbie E. Some comedy with Parks winning with a top rope splash.

2. Velvet Sky beat Gail Kim to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship. Sky sold a knee injury most of the match and won via roll-up.

3. Kurt Angle beat Wes Briscoe. Big pop for Angle. Angle won with the Angle Slam and gave him the Ankle Lock after the match.

Hulk Hogan came out to cut a promo and received probably the biggest reaction of the night. Team 3D interrupted and threatened to beat up Hogan. Jeff Hardy and Sting saved Hogan, and Hogan announced the main event to be a No DQ match.

4. James Storm beat Bobby Roode in a Street Fight. Great match for house show standards. Good false finish with Roode kicking out of a Super Kick. Roode went to spit beer in Storm's face and Storm gave him the Super Kick for the win.

5. Samoa Joe beat Christopher Daniels. Joe thought he was a bigger star than he is. Pretty good technical match as Joe won with the Muscle Buster.

6. Austin Aries beat AJ Styles. Another good match. Aries played to the crowd a lot. Styles went for the Styles Clash and Roode came out. Styles gave Roode the pele and then Aries rolled up Styles for the win.

7. Sting and Jeff Hardy beat Team 3D in a No DQ match. Lots of 3D taunting the crowd, throwing water at them, yelling at kids, etc. It was a normal match with a table finish. Hardy won with a top rope splash through the table on Devon.
