TNA live event
Pikeville, Ky.

This is the third TNA house show I have attended in Pikeville. The first year TNA came, very few people attended. Last night the arena was almost halfway full. Its seems every year more people are attending the house shows. The show was very entertaining and the fans were really into the action.

1. Eric Young (w/Orlando Jordan) beat Robbie E (w/Cookie). Robbie E and Cookie kicked the show off by telling jeremy Borash that no one was allowed backstage. That led to a very funning match between the People's Champ Eric Young and Robbie E. Eric Young won the match with the assistance of his partner Orlando Jordan.

2. Velvet Sky defeated Tara. Earl Hebner was the referee and put on some pink sunglasses and acted The Hitman. He drew a lot of heat and laughs.

3. Matt Morgan defeated Hernadez.

4. Beer Money defeated Ink Inc to retain the TNA Tag Titles. Beer Money received a huge pop and the fan really pop for their finishing crowed getter (BEER) (MONEY). Ink, Inc. came out with a (Stop Hilltop Removal) sign to get some major heat. James Storm is TNA's workhorse. He is a very good worker and sells everything.

Intermission

5. Mr. Anderson defeated Matt Hardy. Mr. Anderson received a huge pop and played to the crowd. Hardy was not a crowd favorite.

6. Kurt Angle defeated Jeff Jarrett in the main event. The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley was the special guest Ring Enforcer.

Notes: It was a great show. The content was 10 times better than Impact this past Thursday night. The wrestlers sold their moves and really worked in the ring. After the show, the wrestlers came out and signed autographs and greeted the fans. Every wrestler signed except for Anderson, Hardy, and Storm.

You would have thought that Double J was some Country Music Legend. Hundreds of people were packing around guitars last night. This was the first year I have actually seen people wanting their guitars signed by Double J. I wish TNA would take their simple and entertaining approach during house shows and incorporate it on their television shows.

Final note: TNA always sells a brown bag special to get rid of some old inventory. 4 DVD's, a T-shirt, and of course the TNA bag for $20. They hard Jeff Hardy t-shirts in the bag this year.
