TNA live event
San Francisco, Calif.
Report by Dot Net reader Steven Marinkovich

Small crowd. Only about 1,000 people.

I had VIP tickets so I got to go to the meet and greet. The people who were there we're Kazarian, Crimson, Winter, Mickie James, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, and Abyss. They were all friendly. The meet and greet ended at 6:30 and the show didn't start until 7:30 so some people were getting annoyed.

Right before the show started Don West came out and threw some merchandise into the crowd.

Bobby Roode came out first as the world champion, but was interrupted by James Storm and the main event was set as Roode vs. Storm for the championship.

1. Brian Kendrick and Kazarian defeated Christopher Daniels and Kid Kash. Great back and forth match. Kendrick got the pin with his sliced bread finisher. Match of the night. After the match Kash came to ringside and he came nose to nose with me.

Earl Hebner came out and did his usual "Damn Right I Did" routine.

2. Crimson defeated Samoa Joe. Okay match. Crimson win with the sky-high powerbomb.

3. Mickie James defeated Winter. Comedy match with a good huracanrana spot by Mickie. The finish was Hebner kissed Winter and then Mickie hit her DDT. After the match, Mickie kissed Hebner. Funny stuff.

4. RVD defeated Abyss. Decent match RVD won with the five-star frogsplash.

20 minute intermission. Both Hebner's were in the lobby signing Earl's t-shirt. There was some more merchandise thrown into the crowd.

5. Jeff Hardy defeated Bully Ray. Nothing special. Hardy won with the Twist of Fate, Swanton combo.

6. Bobby Roode defeated James Storm to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Second best match of the night. It was on pace to be the best, but it turned into a typical TNA main event where the ref got knocked out, Storm hits his superkick, and the ref isn't up to make the count. Roode hit Storm with the belt to win. During the match, I got nose to nose with Roode.

After the main event Jeff Hardy signed autographs and took pictures in the ring for free. Really long line for it.

Biggest pops:
1. RVD
2. James Storm
3. Jeff Hardy
4. Samoa Joe
5. Mickie James
6. Kazarian
7. Brian Kendrick
8. Crimson

Biggest heat:
1. Bully Ray
2. Bobby
3. Earl Hebner
4. Christopher Daniels
5. Kid Kash
6. Abyss
7. Winter

Overall Thoughts: This was my first TNA live event and I was satisfied. At first while I was waiting after the meet and greet, I was getting really annoyed, but when the show started it was awesome. They really got the fans involved and it was an overall good experience.
