TNA News
Jeff Jarrett returning to the ring, former TNA creative team member Dutch Mantel comments on Hulk Hogan signing with TNA
By Jason Powell Nov 10, 2009 - 09:23 AM

Jeff Jarrett will be returning to the ring on Nov. 14 in Princeton, Ky. at the Caldwell County High School. He will be wrestling longtime friend and former fellow creative team member Dutch Mantel in the main event.

In related news, Mantel offered his take on Hulk Hogan signing with TNA. "My take on Hulk and TNA is that both parties made a wise move," Mantel wrote on his blog site. "TNA gets the Hogan name worldwide for the next 3 to 5 years which will help them tremendously in their international affairs. With all the publicity that Hulk has had in the last two years in the Hulk drama, he is known all over the world.

"Hogan also made a good business move in that it keeps him in a high profile TV spot and he is probably the only wrestling guy left on the planet with the juice to do what Hulk can do. But making good business moves is just the first step.  Now the entire marriage will depend on how Hulk and TNA handle the job from here on out." Powell's POV: Who would have guessed that Jarrett's return to the ring would take place in a high school gym? For those who don't know the history, Mantel worked for Jarrett's father for many years, and he and Jeff worked closely together in TNA. By the way, Mantel also commented on whether he believes Hogan and Vince Russo can coexist, and chimed in on the Russo and Jim Cornette feud.
