Dot Net reader Manuel Aguayo attended the TNA fanfest on Saturday in California and passed along the following notes.
I came from Los Angeles and got there at 8 a.m. I was secound person in line. They mentioned doors were going to open at 11 and they said they'd get us in early, which they didn't. The staff was not completely organized and it seemed like they were behind and couldn't provide us with all info. They mentioned it was gonna be three sessions and each session would be 90 minutes or so for us to get every wrestlers autograph and pic.
The wrestlers came out at noon. Earl Hebner started signing a little before then. Styles was mellow. He had the first longest line. Bobby Lashley had the second longest line and he was very friendly. Beer Money had the third longest line. They where mellow too. They were drinking beer and joking around with fans. The Pope didn't have that much of a line and he was doing his gimmick to get more fans in his line. Daniels had about the same line but was pretty cool with fans. Rhino had the least number of fans in his line and he was looking as serious as always.
Alissa Flash was a down to earth chick and had a long line. The Motor City Machine Guns had a medium line. Sabin was polite while Shelly looked like he was miserable being there. Abyss was cool in a way, but had small line. The Beautiful People had a huge line too. They were actually polite, but Angelina Love wasn't there. Much respect to Hector Guerrero and Willie Urbina. Hector was really cool guy exchanging words about Eddie and they had a long line too. Earl Hebner was quiet and serious and had a small line.
D-Lo Brown was there just passing around trying to get attention. He sad he wasn't there signing or taking pics. He was there the whole time doing the same thing.
1:30 hit and the second session started. Sarita and Taylor Wilde came out they both looked beautiful. They were very sweet and polite and had a long line. Kevin Nash was down to earth had a long line. Samoa Joe was cool but medium line. Hernandez had a medium line but was very down to earth and joking with all fans. Jeremy Borash and Lauren had a medium line both were really cool with fans. Dr. Stevie was very nice and had small line. Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed were having fun and friendly and had medium line. ODB was polite and had a medium line. Suicide had a medium line. Kaz didn't talked at all. Kurt Angle was polite and had a long line.
Tara was in a medium line and was very nice, TBP again small line but very polite. Throughout the day, Dixie interacting with fans. She was answering their questions and thanking them for their support. The questions she asked were along the lines of who's your favorite wrestler, etc..
JB and Don West were selling products and interacting with fans here and there. The third session was Sting. They did the unveiling of his little exhibit. He thanked the fans. Dixie mentioned that every year she finds a way to convince sting to stay. Sting had the longest line. He was polite, but kind of quiet. Mick Foley was messing around with fans and had medium line, Raisha Saeed and Awesome Kong had a medium line and were polite. Eric Young and Homicide had a medium line. Matt Morgan very polite and had a medium line. Team 3D had a long line. They were polite but sometimes very quiet. Amazing Red and Don West were hella cool guys and were in a medium line. Taz and Mike Tenay were down to earth and were in a long line. The British Invasion had a small line were were polite.
Overall, the experience great. After it was over, some wrestlers hung out by the bar and pool area and and in the lobby. Some interacted with fans, while some were just doing their thing or swimming. Much respect to Taz, Mike, Wilde, Sarita, Hernandez, Flash, Hector, JB, Lauren,Lethal and Creed,Young and Homicide, Red, and Don. An awesome
Experience.
